Animal models of intoxication

The department of Pharmacology develops unique animal models of intoxication, designed to simulate various scenarios. These enable research targeting intoxication mechanisms following exposure to a wide range of toxicants dispersed in liquids, gases, aerosols and powders using parenteral, whole body or nose-only inhalation, and/or topical exposure methods.
